High Security Fencing

At The Fence Barn, we have extensive experience in building security fences, gates and enclosures. Many of us think of security as keeping people out or in, of an enclosure with high fences, heavy gates, heavy duty locks etc.

Security can also take the form of simple posts and rails for pedestrians near roadways and on steep walking slopes etc. Even erecting posts in a line to prevent vehicular access onto a public park is security. Whatever the form, at The Fence Barn, we have done it.

 

Commercial Security

 

The Fence Barn designs, manufactures and erects perimeter fencing and gates for commercial buildings.

 

The most common of these are constructed with metal posts, metal rails and chainwire up to 3.6 metres high. Barbed wire can be fitted along the top of the fence for extra security.

 

Where extra strength and security is required perimeter fences and gates are constructed with heavy gauge steel. Metal palings are welded onto the rails. Typically these perimeter fences are accompanied with gates which are constructed and designed with the same materials as the fence. Suitably heavy duty locks are constructed into the gates, which can be of the swing type or electric sliding

 

Palisade Security Fencing

 

 

In areas where security is essential, palisade fencing ensures maximum protection from vandals and intruders. The vertical cold rolled palings are permanently secured to the horizontal rails to form a high security, solid steel barrier up to 4.2 metres in height.

 

The top of each pale is shaped into a multi-directional, triple spike. The combination of triple spikes and the lack of foot holds, positively discourages any attempts at climbing.

 

Gates are manufactured from the same materials to compliment the fence with heavy duty hinges and locking devices fitted or welded.
